DAVID F. STEINHOFF - David Steinhoff is a partner in the Englewood law firm of Solem, Mack & Steinhoff, P.C. Prior to private practice he served as a division director of Colorado Rural Legal Services and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado. He graduated from the University of Denver (BA 1976, JD 1979). He practices before all of Colorado's state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as many government agencies. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and of the Elder Law Forum, Statutory Revisions Committee and the Trust and Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He has authored articles and lectured at classes for attorneys and the public. His practice emphasizes estate planning, probate administration, probate litigation, disability law and real estate.

          MEET THE LAWYERS 
PATRICIA A . MACK -  Patricia A. Mack is a partner in the Englewood firm of Solem, Mack and Steinhoff, P.C. Before private practice she was an Assistant City Attorney for the City and County of Denver where she represented the Denver Department of Human Services in guardianship and conservatorship cases and was counsel to the Department on adult protection matters.   Ms. Mack received her law degree in 1978 from the University of Wisconsin and is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Colorado and admitted to practice before the federal courts located there.  Ms. Mack was a staff attorney with Legal Action of Wisconsin and maintained a private practice in Colorado Springs before she moved to the Denver area. She has had extensive experience as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem for the elderly and disabled in Denver Probate Court.  Ms. Mack is the author of The Public Benefits Manual, a training and reference guide used throughout the state of Colorado by legal services programs. Since 2001 she has written the annual survey of elder law published by the Colorado Bar Association. Ms. Mack is a member of the American Bar Association.
R. ERIC SOLEM  - R. Eric Solem is the senior partner in the Englewood law firm of Solem, Mack & Steinhoff, P.C. His practice emphasizes elder law including estate planning,  Medicaid, probate and disability law . Mr. Solem is a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He is licensed in Wisconsin and Colorado and has practiced before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Mr. Solem is a member of the Elder Law Committee, Disability Law Committee, and Trust and Probate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Colorado Guardianship Alliance. He is also the vice-president of the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities, Inc. Mr. Solem is a frequent lecturer to lawyers in Continuing Legal Education seminars in elder law and Medicaid.  He is also the author of numerous publications.
LANCE E. McKINLEY Lance E. McKinley is an associate in the Englewood law firm of Solem, Mack & Steinhoff, P.C. He joined the firm in 2004. Prior to private practice, Mr. McKinley was a law clerk in Arapahoe County District Court, where he clerked for the Honorable Juanita L. Rice and the Honorable Gerald J. Rafferty. Mr. McKinley received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 2001. His practice focuses on probate matters and disability trusts.

PETER T. HARRIS Peter T. Harris is an associate in the Englewood law firm of Solem, Mack & Steinhoff, P.C. Prior to joining the firm in 2003 he was Of Counsel for The McNamara Law Firm in Denver. He is a 1992 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. He practices before all of Colorado’s state and federal trial courts. His practice focuses on estate litigation, fiduciary theft, and guardianships and conservatorships. Mr. Harris is a member of the Denver Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association.
